FAFS Duplex Filters/Strainers :-Duplex strainer is a right choice to install in a pipe- line to remove dirt and other unwanted debris from fluids. Straining is accomplished by directing the fluid through sized openings in a basket. Duplex Type Strainers are highly economic, handy and easily accessible in the market.
             Duplex strainers are installed where fluid flow cannot be interrupted while the basket is removed for cleaning.Duplex strainers are designed for pressure and suction type installations.
FAFS Simplex Filters/Strainers:-Simplex basket strainers are used when liquids require regular or frequent cleaning, and when the line can be shut down for short periods to clean or change the basket.
        A reason for its popularity is the unusually large basket capacity. The free straining area with a perforated basket is a minimum of six times the cross sectional pipe area. No tools are needed to open the cover. On sizes 4" and larger, a special cover clamp is provided to distribute the seating pressure and to ensure positive seating of the cover.
FAFS  Y" Type Strainers:-  "Y" Type Strainers can be used for course filtration and with large filtration area. It can be used with fine mesh also. It can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position (Downward flow) with the screen element pointing downwards. This allows the strainer screen to collect material in the strainer at the lowest point of the screen.
