Sphurti Basundi is an Indian dessert. It is a dense sweetened paste made by boiling milk on low heat until the milk is reduced up to 1/3. Then a little sugar is added. Also the cardamom, and/or saffron may be added while serving. Basundi must served chilled, often garnished with slices of almonds and pistachios.
