Indicator Type:In this variety, all the particles of Silica Gel are impregnated with an Indicator. When free from moisture, the particles are blue in colour and it is packed at this state in air tight container. While in use as the particles pick up moisture, Silica Gel gradually turns pink and gives a ready indication to the user that it has done its work and requires replacement or regeneration, Pink Silica Gel turns blue when heated to a temperature of 150°C, after drying in sun and can be regenerated indefinite number of times without any loss in absorption efficiency.
