Cast Iron Electrode Machinable

CAST IRON ELECTRODE (MACHINABLE) is low heat input electrode for high strenth, machinable welds and overlay on grey and alloy cast irons. Best suitable for crack free joining of cast iron to steel and to nickel alloys. Weld defect rectification in casting of grey cast iron, malleable and S.G. cast iron.

APPLICATIONS - on engine heads, pump casting, mufflers, exhaust manifold ingot moulds and variety of cast iron machine parts. It is very suitable for welding heavy and highly stressed CI sections to repair cracks on CI parts., Maintain inter pass temprature around 150⁰C.
