Clove Stems

Clove stems are the twig extension on which the clove buds are found. Normally, the stems are separated from the flower buds during the drying and sorting process. Cloves stems are however, rich in oil (5-8%) and are preferred by essential oil extractors as a cheaper source to obtain clove oil.
