A consumer products industry client from Lancaster, Pennsylvania recently contracted Signal Machine Company to manufacture six punching die sets that would be used for stamping small metal plates. Using our advanced CNC turning, CNC milling, and wire EDM capabilities, we constructed the set from M2 tool steel, with the ability to meet tolerances as low as (+-) .0002 of an inch.
Meeting client specifications, the parts measured approximately 4x4x3 inches. We additionally heat-treated all components. Exceeding our client's high expectations for quality, the finished units were then shipped to our customer's facility in Pennsylvania.
