Product name: English name: Gherkins, pickled cucumber Scientific name: Cucumis Sativus CNHS number: 200110000 Cucumber is mainly grown in the North of Vietnam, concentrating in Hanam, Hungyen, Haiduong, Bacgiang Provinces . Since it just gets well with cool weather so there are two main crops per year only, the first crop (Spring – Summer) is from March to May and the second (Autumn – Winter) is from November to January of the following year. The output per each season is about 8,000 to 10,000 metric tons of fresh materials ( equivalent to 1,000 containers of 20’FCL)
