REX DCV-Series Disc Check Valves are an excellent alternative to conventional check valves for several reasons. Its design is inherently lighter and more compact, making it less expensive to install and to ship. All valves are seat tested before thery are shipped from the factory. It provides a maintenance free effective solution for preventing reverse flow of condensate discharged from traps. Fit easily between two pipe flanges, can be installed in any direction, with good, tight shut-off. Recommended for all trap installations draining into flooded return lines to prevent return flow especially during a shutdown.
