AV185+, a fast and simplex scanner for documents and cards
The Avision AV185+ is a 40 page-per-minute, simplex sheetfed scanner that is designed to scan documents and plastic ID cards in a fast, and reliable quality. The straight paper path ensures thicker paper up to 400 g/m2 (110 lbs) and embossed plastic cards up to 1.25mm can be transmitted smoothly. Ultrasonic multi-feed detection assures you all of your critical documents are imaged correctly.

Innovative Straight Paper Path Suited for Documents and Cards - Unlike conventional U-shaped paper path, the Avision AV185+’s innovative straight paper path provides smooth and reliable paper transmit and allows a mixed sizes and weights of documents such as plain paper and embossed plastic cards to be transmitted smoothly in one scan. What is best, with its advanced image processing technology, you will be astonished to find that every image is appropriately cropped, deskewed and ready to use right out of the box.
Long Page Scanning up to 118" - The reliable paper feed system also lets you scan unusually long document up to 3 meters (118”) at 300 dpi in color, grayscale, or black and white. This is ideal for scanning engineering diagram, insurance bill, health record or other special documents.
Ultrasonic Multi-Feed Detection - The Avision AV185+ uses sound waves to detect multiple documents that go through the scanner at the same time. When multiple pages are fed, the scanner detects multi-feed and sends a warning message. This action ensures that all of your critical documents are imaged correctly without losing a single page.
AV185+ saves your space when not in use - Both the input and output paper tray of the scanner can be folded when not in use. This feature not only helps prevent the unit from dust but also save more working space.
Powerful bundled software applications -
The AV185+ come with TWAIN and ISIS drivers, and are bundled with a suite of powerful software applications that include Avision Button Manager, AvScan, and PaperPort 14SE. With Button Manager, you can create searchable PDFs, scan and send images to e-mail, printer, or other destinations with just a simple press of a button. The AVScan and PaperPort are highly effective image processing and document management software that helps you streamline your task more efficiently.

we're not a 'box-shifter' :
it may surprise you to find out we don't sell online. When it comes to buying printer, you want to be certain you're buying the right machine for the job before you spend any money. We prefer to start by advising our customers on the best possible products for their requirements giving you the opportunity to make an informed decision. There are numerous vendors who can sell you printing equipment, but don't know much about setting them up.
