Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings from the Tata Bearings portfolio are capable of taking ‘combined loads’, i.e., high radial and axial load increases with increase in contact angle. This bearing is particularly suitable for application demanding rigid axial guidance.

Tata Bearings offers customers Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings for fan-support applications for commercial vehicles, amongst other applications. The bearings are fitted with high temperature grease and seals with special inner ring grooves which prevent the entry of external contaminants like dust and water.

The raceway groove manufacturing of the outer rings and inner rings of these bearings are carried out in world class machines with diamond rolls for better geometrical accuracy and superior quality, resulting in longer life.

Keeping pace with change
Ever since the start of operations at the Kharagpur Facility, Tata Bearings has been constantly implementing new technology, and improving systems and processes through innovations in the field to deliver greater value to customers. In the initial stages the technology was obtained from M/s Societe Nouvelle de Roulements (SNR) - France, through a technical collaboration but presently all developments are carried out in-house. The Division has state-of-the-art IT hardware with ASP as the ERP platform for an online information system.
Tata Bearings has a technical collaboration with Nachi Fujikoshi Corp., of Japan for developing and testing of key automotive bearings. For certain applications, it has also tied up with the IITs and CMERI Durgapur.
