Red embelia consist of dried ripe fruits of E.tsjerium, which is found in India, Ceylon and Sylhet. It is also used in Homeopathy. Two species are found : (i) Embelia ribes and (ii) E. tsjeriam (E. robusta)It is a best anthelmintic drug of Ayurveda. It is very good medicine for worms.
