FLANGED IMMERSION HEATERS are designed to be attached to flat surfaces of tanks or mating flanges in order to heat liquids. The number of hairpin-shaped elements varies according to wattage and size of flange, Incoloy for immersion in materials corrosive to copper and stainless steel and high heat environments (to1600o F), Stainless Steel for environments corrosive to copper (1200oF), Copper for water heating and Liquids not corrosive to copper (to 350o F).
