It consists of a low impedance coil, metal rectifier and load resistance in each phase. During normal condition the relay coil is shorted with the fuse. Once the fuse blows, current flows through the relay and it operates. The load resistance 1K will come into picture when the system is lightly loaded.
Application

Alarm relay used for supervision of fuses in the protection circuits
Can be used for protection blocking where the protection relay’s operating time is more than 30 ms
