Ginger is one of the oldest and widely used spices in the world and as such needs no introduction. It has been in use in Asia for number of centuries and enjoys prominence in Ayurveda – the ancient Indian system of medicine. First mentioned by Confucious (philosopher in ancient China between 551-429 BC), Ginger is now grown in large scale, in many parts of the world like India, China, Jamaica, Taiwan, Nigeria, Sieraleone, Fiji, Mauritius and  Australia. India is the major producer of Ginger producing about 50% of the total global production.

We source our Ginger from the Phulbani region in the state of Orissa in eastern India. We utilize a method called Super-critical-fluid-extraction in which we use CO₂ gas as the agent to extract the purest extracts.
