Gland Packing

We supply a range of gland packing. Gland packing is a typically made of compressed yarn, which is treated with various lubrications. We can supply synthetic and cellulose based packaging, as well as graphite impregnated. Packings are used, for example, to prevent the leakage of water and steam on boats and steam engines.
Asbestos Rope
Twisted Asbestos Ropes: Several ends of asbestos yarns are uniformly twisted to produce very flexible ropes. Caulking Asbestos Ropes: A number of soft packing with various construction parameters to produce caulking ropes.
Ceramic Fiber Braided Rope
Ceramic Fibre Cloth is a compression packing for very high temperature duties. It is manufactured from an exceptionally stable fibre material that is soft, non-irritating, non-hazardous & is not limited by World Health Organisation or European Union restrictions. These heat resistant fibres are produced using advanced chemical fibre technology. They are spun into a flexible yarn in the UK, together with a low percentage of glass fibre and Inconel wire reinforcement.
Pure Carbon Graphite Packing
Pure Carbon an Inter braide multiservice carbon filament packing for pumps and valves. It is a special packing with low friction characteristics adapted easily and quickly into the equipment and requires only occasional gland adjustments.
