Granite is an igneous rock created from slow crystallization of magma below the Earth’s surface. Granite is composed mainly of quartz and feldspar. While not as alluring as marble in terms of appearance, it’s hardness makes it the finish of choice for external finishes as well as in high-traffic areas like airports and malls with heavy footfall. India, China and Brazil are the largest producers and exporters of Granite.
