The GSMGPRS Modem USB uses SIM800 based Quad band 85090018001900MHz GSM GPRS module. It can be connected to PC or laptop via USB directly or to a microcontroller UART using TTL levels. The modem consists of all the external circuit required to start experimenting with the SIM900A module like the power regulation, external antenna, SIM Holder, etc. Modem is built with Quad Band GSMGPRS based SIM900A module from SIMCOM. It works on frequencies 85090018001900MHz. SIM900A can search these bands automatically. The frequency bands can also be set by AT Commands. The baud rate is configurable from 1200-115200 through AT command. The GSMGPRS Modem is having internal TCPIP stack to enable you to connect with internet via GPRS.
