Hassan green granite, also called star green and verde star granite, is medium-grained, dark green granite mostly quarried in India. Available in polished and flamed surface finishes, this granite slab and tiles are widely used by the contractors and home owners for kitchen countertops, vanity top, wall cladding, flooring, steps and treads. The standard specifications & technical data of this granite include 0.4 % water absorption, 206.00 MPa compressive strength, 2820 kg/mÂ³ density, 21.19 MPa flexural strength, 274 Kg/cm2 ultimate tensile strength, 0.0045mm/mcÂº coeff. thermal expansion, 2.960 Kg/m3 specific gravity, 6.5 hardness (Moh's scale) and 68 cm impact test-min fall height.
