Characteristics of graphite rotor: (1) The mechanical strength is high, and it increases with the increase of temperature in the range of 2500℃. (2) Low thermal expansion coefficient. (3) Good thermal shock resistance. (4) It has no wettability to molten aluminum and does not react chemically with aluminum. (5) Good chemical stability, acid, alkali and organic solvent corrosion resistance. (6) The long-term use temperature in the air can reach 500 ℃.
1. Chemical stability: Graphite has good chemical stability at room temperature, and is resistant to acid, alkali and organic solvent corrosion.
2. Plasticity: Graphite has good toughness and can be rolled into very thin sheets.
3. Thermal shock resistance: When graphite is used at room temperature, it can withstand severe changes in temperature without damage. When the temperature changes suddenly, the volume of graphite changes little and no cracks occur.
