Modern Insulators Ltd (MIL) is the pioneer in Aluminous High Voltage Porcelain Insulators in India.

It was set up in 1985 in technical collaboration with Siemens AG, Germany, for manufacture of Aluminous High Voltage Porcelain Insulators. MIL, now is one of the largest exporters in the country & has been honoured with various Export Awards from Ministry of Commerce consecutively for four years.

MIL manufactures Porcelain Insulators from 33KV to 1200 KV. The main product categories are:
Solidcore post insulators for Disconnectors and Substation requirements.
Hollow insulators for SF6 Circuit Breakers, Lightning Arrestors and Instruments Transformers, CT, CVT & PT.
Longrod insulators for Overhead Transmission Lines.
