The testing instrument is incorporated with an adjustable bottle finish holder to hold an extensive range of finishes excluding the requirement for unique tools or change parts. Moreover, the adjustable supports of the machine, tightly hold the bottles in a defined place during the cutting process.

The wire section cutter precisely cuts the specimens in three parts namely, bottom, top and cylinder. Each part of the bottle cut in exact and defined weights in order to comply with the specifications that obtain a unique wall thickness distribution. This ensures the mechanical and physical quality requirements. The process is, hence, controlled on the basis of statistical results by gauging the weight of each part of a bottle.
