Macadamia nuts

Originally grown in Australia, macadamia nuts were traditionally a difficult crop to cultivate but are now produced worldwide. They are often associated with Hawaii, as they thrive in the climate conditions of the region. They are high in omega 3 fatty acids, fiber and iron which are known to promote heart health, aid in the reduction of bad cholesterol, and lower the risk of heart disease.
