Panch mel mix dal is lentil preparation from Rajasthan which is known for its nutrition value.  “Panch” means “5” and “mel” means “mix”, five dals are used and hence the name Panchmel dal. The panch mel dal is also known as Panch ratna dal. It is part of rich Rajasthani cuisine.
