Several, usually seven, smaller diamond stones are mounted in spaced relationship across the working surface of the shank. Multi-Point dressers are an economical substitute for large carat weight single point diamond dressers. Heavier diamonds are used mostly for roughing larger wheels. These tools are available in 2, 3, 5, and 7 stone configurations and on standard, special and tapered shanks.
