paraffin wax is a soft wax that is mainly formed from paraffin oil .since it is a soft kind of wax, it can be easily melted. a by product of petroleum is termed as basic paraffin wax. some other things are also added in it namely palm oil and resins. it is used to make candles, adhesive and other procedures used in industries.
