The coir disk is made by compressing the peat in disc form with round dies to become flat cylinders. The coir disks are available in different diameters. These are widely used in seed trays for seed germination.
In this type the coir peat used is quite less. This coir disk can be placed directly on the container and watered to prepare the media. Preparing the growing media is very simple using plain coir disk.
These are used in hydroponics container and in home gardening to fill the small planters extensively.
