Automatic power factor control panels are microprocessor controlled system that automatically manage power capacitor bank to compensate for the reactive power absorbed by the load. Capacitors are turned on and off according to the reactive power required to maintain the power factor of the load up to 0.99. The Controller calculates the power factor by the load based on the current value circulating on the line and voltage value.
