Return Spring

These cylinders consist of the cylinder barrel with compressed air connection and cylinder cover. Fitted in the cylinder are the piston with guide tube and the piston return spring. The piston packing seals off the working chamber from the cylinder chamber, which is not under pressure. The mounting bracket serves for attachment of the brake cylinder to the vehicle or bogie frame. The mounting bracket can be either permanently attached to the cylinder body or it cane be removal type.
