Sciyaclorth have generic Chlorthalidone is a diuretic prescribed for high blood pressure, fluid retention & swelling including that due to heart failure, liver failure and nephrotic syndrome, diabetes insipidus and renal tubular acidosis. In high blood pressure it is a preferred initial treatment. It is also used to prevent calcium-based kidney stones.  It helps the kidney to get rid of unwanted water and salt from the body into the urine. It reduces excess fluid levels in the body & treats edema related to heart, kidney or lung disease.
