The sigma mixer consists of a container assembly that includes a mixing vessel, a pair of sigma blades.The rotation of the blades is through a drive system that includes motor, gear reducer, couplings, gears, bearings and seals. The mixing vessel may be provided with external jacket for circulation of hot or cold media. The material is loaded into the mixing vessel from the top. The discharge of the material is either by tilting the mixing vessel, through bottom discharge valve, or through a discharge screw.
