Ethylene may be introduced in ripening chambers in one of the three ways- by using Catalytic ethylene generator with regulator; ethylene cartridges and 5% ethylene + 95% nitrogen cylinder. Whichever method is used, the duty holder should ensure that there are adequate means of dispersing the ethylene gases throughout the ripening room on its release. Centralized Ethylene with Automation for multiple chambers for controlled and safe dosing of ethylene may be preferred. Semi Automatic Ripening System :

• The Semi Automatic Ripening System ensures ripening using semi automatic controller. It completes ripening cycle in 4 days. The cycle starts with dosing the room with ethylene for 16-24 hours. The CO2 level is controlled for the following 3 days by switching on and off the ventilating fans, we have to make sure that no doors and windows remain open while the process.
• The semi automatic ripening system control every parameter which is require while ripening, this ensure the consistent ripening of fruits.

• Gas Cylinder Bank
• Semi automatic ripening controller

Procedure :

• Pre cool the fruit/veg to the required temperature
• Switch on the ripening controller (make sure that no doors or vents are open)
• Open the door after 96hrs/4day

Manual Ripening System : Ethylene Generator - We have full range of ethylene generators, which are ideal for ripening of fruits. This is most economical & commonly used method to ripen the fruits, banana, mango etc. in this ethanol is filled in the generator & keeps the generator in one chamber for 12-24 hours.
