monocular tube having a mechanical tube length of 160 mm. Body
inclinable through 90° and fixed to a solid base.
stage – fixed plain square stage 110 x 110mm with two stage
clips. The abbe condenser having a n.a. (numeric aperture) of 1.2
with iris diaphragm and swing-out filter carrier is fixed to the
stage. (designed to accept a mechanical stage with x-y movement).
nose piece – triple revolving nose piece for quick change of
magnification with accurate click stops for perfect parfocal alignment.
focusing – rack and pinion mechanism for coarse focusing and
worm and gear for fine focusing.
illumination – fitted with a standard plano-concave mirror in
fork mount adjustable in any direction. A sub-stage illuminator lamp
220v 15w can be easily fitted in the mirror socket holder.
(optional accessory - at extra cost).
standard optics: huygenian eye-piece 10x & 15x.
achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 40x.
finish – staple cream.
packing – plywood carrying cabinet with lock and key, dust
cover and rack for storing eye pieces.
