Vertical autoclaves are also known as top loading sterilizers that come in cylindrical shape. The working of vertical autoclave is simple to understand; to open, a radial locking mechanism is fitted at top of the lid; a foot lever (pedal) is attached at the bottom. User has to press the pedal and lift the lid. Vertically designed chamber provides guaranty of safe and efficient sterilization even in confined spaces.
