Nylon Wafer Type Check Valve

The disc is mounted in a nylon bushing, which allows it to move slightly both horisontally and vertically to close completely tight also in case of minor impurities in the seat. The seat is placed in a 20° angle providing tightness even at low backpressure. The hinge is made of acid-resistant stainless steel and is firmly tightened around the shaft with bolts to eliminate play and thus to ensure durability. Where limited space is available, the hinge can be placed in reverse position.​ It is utilized to stop piping and to prevent backflow. Backflow happens when the substance in the pipe flows the other way when the valve is shut.
