YS-3 Yellow Sapphire

If you prefer a classic, perfectly cut oval, here is the one. This sapphire weights 1.93 ct., pure "straw" to light golden yellow color, perfectly, executed, oval, mixed cut (modified, step cut), measuring 7.64x6.5x4.85mm, eye flawless, VVS type2 from Nivitigala, Sri Lanka. Our first rough purchase at the Nivitigala market, held everyday mornings from 7 to 9AM, this was a challenge, as we usually purchase the rough from our miner friend in Ratnapura. Very pleased that we better than well. Master cut in a classic, modified oval cut, this gem sparkle superbly even in the dimmest of lights. Unheated, untreated as mother nature created it.
