Aluminium Bronze Ingots & Castings manufactured by us are covered under the specification IS:305-1981 Or Reaffirmed 2006. Aluminium Bronze Ingots cast are of uniform quality and reasonably free from slag, dross and otherharmful contaminations. They are remelted for producing industrial castings. Castings of Aluminium Bronze are madefree from harmful inclusions and cracks. The ingots cast are generally 10Kg to 12 Kg Per Piece. The Castings areprepared as per dimensions and in accordance with the drawings. Aluminium Bronze Castings are used in marinehardware, shafts & pump and valve components for handling sea water, sour mine waters, nonoxidizing acids &industrial process fluids. They area also used in applications such as heavy-duty sleeve bearings and machine tool ways.Aluminium Bronze Ingots & Castings are cast as per 2 grades namely AB-1 & AB -2. The chemical compositions of the 2 grades of the alloy are tabulated below: -
