MINTREAT-112 is a catalysed oxygen scavenger. It is a blend of sodium sulphite and a catalyst. It is recommended for the rapid and complete removal of dissolved oxygen from boiler feed water. MINTREAT-112 reacts with oxygen to produce sodium sulphate, which contributes to the dissolved solids in boiler feed water. (Na2 SO3 + ½ O2 Na2 SO4).

• RAPID REACTION - The catalyst MINTREAT-112 speeds up the removal of dissolved oxygen. Oxygen can be removed completely even from cold water due to catalytic action. Normal reaction time is as low as 15 to 20 seconds as against 10 to 30 minutes for uncatalysed sulphite.
• pH CONTROL - MINTREAT-112 is formulated to get proper pH control for optimum availability of catalyst for rapid oxygen removal.
• EASY TO HANDLE - It is soluble in water even at lower feed water temperature. It is non-toxic and non-corrosive and therefore, can be handled easily.
• COST EFFECTIVE - The catalytic action reduces the excessive requirement of sulphite in feed water for the rapid removal of oxygen. Thus, the quantity required is lower, making MINTREAT-112 treatment cost effective.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE

MINTREAT-112 solution should be dosed continuously. Dissolve the required quantity of MINTREAT-112 gently in boiler feed water in a separate tank. Dose this solution continuously in the boiler feed water line after the deaerator. Above 8 ppm of sodium sulphite is required for the removal of 1 ppm of dissolved oxygen from boiler feed water. About 10% to 20% of excess sulphite should be dosed to provide oxygen consuming reserve.

HANDLING, STORAGE AND PRECAUTIONS

MINTREAT-112 is mildly alkaline in nature. Normal precautions should be taken while handling solid powders. In case of contact, wash with water. Do not swallow. MINTREAT-112 should be stored in a dry condition. Close the container tightly to avoid contact with air.

PACKAGING - MINTREAT-112 is available in 35 kg HDPE Carboys (Std).

MINTREAT-511 is a non heavy metal liquid formulation of corrosion & scale inhibitors designated to protect ferrous equipments in recirculating cooling water systems. Corrosion provided by MINTREAT-511 is superior to other nonchromate treatments. The product contains a threshold inhibitor developed for controlling precipitation of calcium phosphates, carbonates, sulfates. MINTREAT-511 also contains a dispersant for suspended matter such as silt, metal oxide etc. The dispersant keeps suspended matter in dispersed condition avoiding deposition in heat exchangers.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE

Dosages of MINTREAT-511 varies depending upon the make up water quality & operation conditions. We will assist you in designing optimum product requirement. MINTREAT-511 should be dosed at a point in the system at maximum turbulent zone for good mixing.

MINTREAT-511 is safe to handle and no special care is required while handling this product. MX-511 is stable under normal dosages conditions.

MINTREAT-405 is a non oxidizing liquid carbamate microbiocide specially formulated for use in industrial cooling water systems & air washer systems. MINTREAT-405 prevents growth of micro-organism such as fungi, bacteria, including sulphate-reducing bacteria & algae in industrial cooling water systems.
