DESCRIPTION.Paintco Epoxy Enamel / 2 Pack is based on Epoxy and polyamide resins. This coating after curing for 7 days resists effectively the attack of dilute acids, alkalies and water at ambient temperature. corrosion resistance of this paint when applied over Paintco Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Primer / 2 Pack is extraordinarily good.PHYSICAL DATA.Pigment:Rutile Titanium dioxide and /or colour pigments.Appearance:High gloss, Semi gloss or Flat.Colours:White and colours.No. of components:Two.Mixing ratio by volume:Base:Hardener.4:1.Pot life after mixing at 30C:Aprox. 6 hours.Specific gravity:Approx.1.10(mixed).Solids by volume:Approx.52% (mixed).Drying time at 30C:1-Dust dry: approx.1hour.2-Hard dry:approx.12 hours.3-Recoatability:after6hours.Flash point:26C APPLICATION DATA.Application method:Airless spray, air spray, brush and roller. The surface is to be coated must be clean dry and well prepare to receive the coating.REMARKS Brush or Air Spray Application.Apply two coats each at 40 microns dry film thickness of Paintco Epoxy Enamel /2 Pack after application of Paintco Epoxy Primer at 50 microns dry film thickness. Mixing: Epoxy base is packed in a drum to which 1 gallon hardener should be added and thoroughly mixed. The mixed paint should be allowed to mature for 15 to 20 minutes.Colours : Such as white, light grey and light green are non-toxic and can be used for coating potable water tanks. For other colours, it is advisable to consult our Technical Department.
