DESCRIPTION. Paintco Solvent Free Epoxy Floor/ 2pk is a high performance self leveling universal coating, based on epoxy and polyamine resins . It is recommended for maintaining dust free atmosphere and preventing wear and tear of floors. It has good resistance to splash, spillage and fumes to most chemicals.PHYSICAL DATA.Pigment:special functional pigments and extenders.Colour:white and grey color.Appearance:Gloss.No of components:Two.Mixing ratio(base : hardener):3 : 1 by volume.Specific Gravity(mixed):1.50 0.02.Volume Solid %(mixed):100 %.Flash Point:> 100C.Pot Life @30C:Approx.1 hours.Drying Time @30C :1-Dust Dry:2 hrs.:2-Through Dry:6 hrs.:3-Complete curing:7 days.Recoating interval:10 hrs (minimum).Theor. Coverage at 500 microns DFT :2 m2/ lit.APPLICATION DATA.Application Tools:airless spray, roller. Thinner: No dilution required.Cleaning tools:Thinner 477/1.We recommend that new concrete floors must be aged and weathered three month before painting otherwise paint coating may fail. However, for quick painting of concrete floor, acid etching (10% of HCL) followed by washing with copious amount of water is recommended. Acid etching greatly improves the adhesion of paint and also neutralize any alkali which has a destructive action on paint film. To obtain satisfactory durability , we recommend that 2-3 coats of Paintco Solvent Free Epoxy Floor 2pk 6435 should be applied .REMARKS.The surface should be free from oil, dust and grease etc.Application below 4C or where the relative humidity is over 85% should be avoided.Paintco Epoxy Sealer 2pk 3993 should be used as first coat for sealing purpose followed by 2-3 coats of Paintco Solvent Free Epoxy Floor 2pk 6435.
