KTR is a family of styrenic thermoplastic elastomers manufactured . KTR grades are linear or radial block copolymers synthesized with butadiene and styrene monomer in organic solvent. They have good tensile strength, elasticity and processability without chemical cross-linking such as vulcanization.
KUMHO KTR® 101 polymer is a linear block copolymer based on styrene and butadiene with bound styrene of 31.5% mass. It is supplied in two physical forms, identified as follows in the grade nomenclature:
KUMHO KTR is SBS block copolymer product manufactured by polymerizing styrene and butadiene in organic solvent. With its molecular structure, SBS is a thermoplastic elastomer that has an excellent recovery capacity from deformation and high elasticity without vulcanization.
KUMHO KTR® 401 polymer is a radical block copolymer based on styrene and butadiene with bound styrene of 31.0% mass. It is supplied in two physical forms, identified as follows in the grade nomenclature:
