\nThe Buoyancy Balance consists of:

\nA mechanical lifting device integrated into a rigid support frame.
\nThis setup allows specimens to be suspended below the balance for submerged weighing (for determining volume via displacement).
\nThe balance can also be used as a standard laboratory weighing system.
