Case packing consist of three different operations:
Case erecting, Case packing/filling and Case sealing. Each of these operations can be either performed individually or Alternately, two or all three of these operations may be integrated into a single machine.

There are four approaches to case packing: side or end loading, wraparound packing, vertical loading (often called drop packing) and robotic loading.

Case packer operates in semi- or fully-automatic mode
A fully-automatic machine integrated case erector and sealer can pack up to 20 picks or 10 cases of flexible packaging per minute It can pack pouches, bags and flow-wrapped products into a range of cases. Changeover for different products is streamlined to improve throughput and reduce downtime.

3-in-1 case packing system puts flexibility as its core competency, The case erector/packer/sealer uses the D2 robotic head for gentle loading of a variety of products. The infeed system comes in different formats to accommodate your specific applications. For example, when the product is a carton or bottle, a simple flat conveyor will transfer the products from filling to case packing. Operations can pack flexible bags/pouches in either a flat or stand-up configuration by employing a dual-axis servo.
