There are several methods to measure how much light is intercepted by a canopy in order to determine if water loss is from evaporation or transpiration. Theres the hard & expensive way and then theres the smart way: the CTR-1. Virtual make Ceptometer offers convenient and flexible tools for measuring and analyzing incident and transmitted Photo synthetically Active Radiation (PAR) in Crop and Forest canopies. This is a a non-destructive method to easily and accurately measure Leaf Area Index (LAI). It provides vital information about the penetration of PAR into crops and forest, and is essential in work such as comparative crop studies, for separating out the effects of cultivars and treatment. It is particularly well suited to low regular canopies (as found in many agricultural crops). It can be used in most light conditions. The first sensor probe has an array of 10 PAR sensors embedded in a 1m long probe, and is connected with Handheld Terminal. The second sensor probe also has a 1 PAR sensor embedded in a 0.5m long probe, and is connected with handheld Data logger. One PAR Sensor is also connected with data logger for reference incoming radiation. When a reading is taken, all sensors are scanned and the measurements transmitted to the data logger. The average light level along the probe is calculated. Further you can download data from data logger to a computer (USB Port) with the help of "Virtualware" (PC Interface Software).
this ccf sensor is for measurement of the cloud cover factor. This innovation of dr. Sten lofveng makes it possible to get automatic observations of the cloud cover factor, ccf 24 hours a day i.e. The fraction of the sky that is covered with clouds. It consists of a day time unit that observes the sky in 4 directions in parts of the solar spectrum, a night time unit that observes the sky in the thermal infra-red spectrum. A microcomputer evaluates the signals and controls the output.
Sanitization Chamber / Tunnel
Virtual make Sanitization Chamber / Tunnel is the state of art fully automatic sanitization solution available in the market.

AERODYNAMIC SHAPE
The Apogee EE08-SS is a customized version of the EE08 probe made by Austrian manufacturer E + E Elektronik. After years of evaluation, the EE08-SS has emerged as our sensor of choice over more expensive probes for accuracy, stability, and durability. The Apogee EE08-SS features an improved right angle, IP67 rated, stainless-steel M12 connector; heat-reflective white cabling; and a more durable, metal-grid dust filter. These features added by Apogee only slightly increase the price over the base model from E + E, but greatly improve the performance and reduce the maintenance of the probe, especially when used with a fan-aspirated radiation shield like the Apogee TS-100.

Instructions for replacement of the reed switch assembly
1. Loosen the 4 Phillips head screws at the base of the collection bucket.
2. Twist the collection bucket counter-clockwise and remove it from the base.
3. Observe the tipper assembly and note the two axle supports holding it in position.
4. On top of each axle support is an eccentric washer with a screw holding it in
place. Loosen and remove the washer on each support.
5. Remove the tipper assembly (tipper, axle and brass eyelets) being careful not to
loose the eyelets.
6. Observe and remove the switch assembly by loosening the Phillips screw.
7. Cut the two wires on the existing switch assembly at the circuit board leaving
approximately two inches of each wire exposed on the base.
8. Place the new switch assembly in the same manor and position as the former
assembly. Screw it into the base.
9. Strip the insulation from the wire ends and use the provided wire nuts to complete
the switch replacement.
10. Replace the tipper assembly and eccentric washers.
11. The washers can be turned in conjunction to position the tipper with respect to the
switch. The contact between each washer and eyelet allows for this positioning.
Ideally, the distance between the magnet and switch should be between and 1/8
of an inch.
12. Once the position of the tipper is established, tighten the eccentric washers. There
should be some movement of the tipper on the axle, approximately 1/32 of an
inch.
13. Verify proper operation by replacing the collection bucket back on the base and
pouring a small amount of water through the collector to facilitate tipping of the
assembly. You will hear it tip. Each tip should account for a 1/100 inch
increment on the counter or display.

The Rainew Tipping bucket rain gauge by RainWise
is the culmination of over thirty years of experience as
the largest manufacturer of rain gauges in the world.
Follow these easy instructions and you will experience
years of trouble-free operation and enjoyment from your
rain gauge.
1. The following items should be included in the
shipping box:
* The Rain Gauge
* Connecting Cable (this cable can not be buried)
* The Display
2. Determine a location for the Rain Gauge keeping in mind the following guidelines:
a. Choose a flat, level surface at least one foot above the ground.
b. Make sure the area is open with no overhanging
obstructions.
c. Avoid mounting the gauge on a steel or iron surface.
d. Locate the display inside.
3. Back out the four (4) screws holding the collector onto the base until it can be rotated to a point
where the collector can be removed from the base. Remove the collector. Using the four (4)
screws supplied with the gauge, mount the base at the location you determined in Step 2. Do not
replace the collector.
4. Run the wire from the gauge to the location of the display. You can run the wire through a window
if you are careful not to cut the wire when the window is closed. The cable can not be buried.
5. Plug the connector on the cable into the receptacle in the counter.
6. Move the dipper in the bottom of the Rain Gauge base back and forth. You should see a count on

under the screw heads. Tighten the screws until they are snug (Do not over tighten). This
completes the installation.
NOTE: a) The counter is powered by an alkaline button battery # 357 and should last at least a year.
To change the battery, you will need to locate a one inch slot on either side of the back. If you look
into the slot , you will see a pressure tab. Using a small flat blade screw driver, place the end of the
screwdriver between the edge of the case and the tab. Slightly twist. The case should separate. The
battery is located in the silver clip. It will slide out either from the top or bottom. A replacement battery
may be obtained at most drug or hardware stores. b) If your collector becomes obstructed and
you remove the cotter pin to clean the rain inlet, please remember to bend the legs back up out
of the way, when reinstalling, so that it doesnt interfere with the tipping bucket.
Warranty Information:
Our rain gauges have a lifetime warranty on the gauge. The electronics (counters and switches) are
guaranteed for one year. There is also a $15.00 shipping and handling charge on repairs. Please
enclose a brief note, daytime phone number and current shipping address when returning a rain

DEMASdb is a graphical database interface that was specifically
designed for the collection, storage and management of
measurement data. The application is suitable for both large
and small monitoring networks. DEMASdb channels and imports
the incoming measurement data manually or automatically,
introducing them in the Paradox database and thus
keeping everything in order. Alternatively, DEMASdb can
also be connected to the existing SQL databases (e.g. Oracle,
MySQL). DEMASdb is also multi-user, so that multiple users can
simultaneously access the data. Thus, it is always ensured that
all data remains consistent. Limitations are imposed on the
partially or fully unauthorised users by means of configurable
user rights (option). The export function of DEMASdb allows
for the time series to be converted to different file formats
and then to be passed on to third parties. With the evaluation
software contained in DEMASdb DEMASvis the archived time
series can be displayed in the clear form of charts and tables by
clicking on the measuring points Explorer

The DischargeApp is a low-cost, user-friendly smartphone
application which provides fast and accurate discharge
measurements in rivers and open channels. It is only needed
to have four ground control points on the field, no expensive
equipment is left at the place. Additionally, the cross-section
of the water body needs to be measured. Depending on the
size and complexity of the channel, the initial site setup may
take between 15 minutes and 1 hour, but his has to be done
only once.
Measuring the discharge on a dedicated DischargeApp site
takes less than a minute. The computation occurs locally on
the smartphone, hence the DischargeApp can be used to
measure in regions without network coverage. Once the
measurement is done, data transmission to the cloud is possible
immediately or later, as soon as internet is available. This
allows error-free data transmission and storage. The measurements
can be accessed via the integrated DischargeDataHub
platform. On this platform measurement data, sites, users and
user permissions can be managed. Access to the data is secure

released by a buzzer. The depth is shown on the cable in metres
and centimetres. If the measurement of water level and
total depth is desired, an additional ground sensor (see accessories)

The new SEBA-Electric Contact Meter type KLL-Light is a
portable, reliable instrument for measuring water level and total
depth in boreholes, wells, reservoirs etc. It especially stands
out for its fast and reliable data logging.
The cable drum of the KLL-Light is made of lightweight, shock
resistant polycarbonate, which is perfectly suited for field use
due to its solidity. The corrosion resistant probe is connected
via an anticorrosive polyethylene cable with two steel cores to
the battery-powered signal unit in the cable drum.
The KLL-Light Electric Contact Meter is equipped with an
acoustic signal as well as an optical signal (signal-LED). On
deploying the probe into the borehole, well, reservoir or other,
the optical and acoustical signals will indicate when the probe
touches the water-level, since the electric circuit is closed
by the liquid medium. At the sound of the signal, the depth
can be read off the graduation at the cable in meters and
centimeters.
Furthermore, a multicolor LED indicates the level of the 9 V
monobloc battery.
Optionally we offer a hanging solution to fix the cable drum to
the top of 2 sounding tubes, allowing for an easier handling
in the field.

The FlowFlat mobile measuring system is the result of many
years of experience in the field of magnetic-inductive flow
measurement. Due to the measuring principle (Faradays
law of induction), the FlowFlat does not require any moving
particles in the measuring medium, unlike ultrasonic
Doppler measuring systems. Flow measurements, e.g.
of spring discharges, can therefore be carried out with the
FlowFlat without any problems. The FlowFlat also offers
great advantages over the hydrological vane, especially under
difficult conditions such as turbulent flows, low flow velocities
and/or weedy measuring cross-sections. Changes
in conductivity have no influence on the measurements.
With a measuring accuracy of 0.5 % of the measured value
and a measuring range of 5 m/s, reliable flow measurements
can be carried out from a water depth of just 5 cm in conjunction
with the 20 mm vane rod (accessory). The FlowFlat is
characterized by a robust design, simple operation and a wide
range of applications.
Programming and setting is carried out with the help of simple
menu navigation via the large, backlit LC display and a waterproof
membrane keypad. The measuring system is ready for
use after just a few presettings and the user can start measuring.
All important information (e.g. determined flow velocities
as instantaneous and average values, standard deviation
from the average value) is then displayed. Measured values are
saved at the touch of a button. The memory contents can be
transferred to a Windows PC via the integrated RS232 interface.
The standard scope of delivery includes the magnetic-inductive
sensor with 5 m signal cable (other cable lengths on request),
the operating terminal, an interface cable and an impact-
resistant transport case.
The optional Q4 database and evaluation software (Windows)
is available to users for comprehensive measurement data
evaluation in the office. For more information on the FlowFlat,
accessories and Q4 software, please visit our SEBA homepage

The flow rate is measured in up to 18 layers by an ultrasonic
flow velocity sensor using the pulse Doppler method. An average
flow velocity in the detection area of the sound beam is
then calculated from these values. The total flow at the measurement
cross-section is determined from the average flow
velocity, the water level and the channel profile information.
This measurement method is suitable for free flowing water
and backed up water. The data for water level, average flow
velocity and calculated flow rate are stored locally in a batteryoperated
data logger and transmitted via mobile network to a
central station

The Dipper-APT from SEBA provides automatic groundwater
measurements and collection of level and temperature. The
groundwater data logger is only 300 mm long and has a diameter
of 22 mm therefore the Dipper-APT is suitable for applications
in wells from as little as 1.
The installation of a Dipper-APT groundwater data logger is exceptionally
simple and cost effective: In order to monitor and
record the level and temperature variation in a well with its
flash-memory, the logger is simply attached to the casing with
either a thin Kevlar- or steel cable and then lowered down. As
the Dipper-APT is not barometrically compensated, an entire
monitoring system requires just one additional Baro-Dipper.
This Baro-Dipper is utilised to record the barometric pressure.
The variations in barometric pressure are
compensated subsequently fast and simple
with the aid of the DEMASdb software.
For a monitoring network in a geographically
defined area, the installation of a single

Measuring principle:
The devices emit a continuous radar signal through their
planar shaped antennas. The emitted signal is reflected by the
medium and received as an echo by the antenna.
The frequency difference between the emitted and received
signal is proportional to the distance and depends on the
water level. The determined water level is converted into a respective
output signal and output as measured value.
80 GHz technology:
The 80 GHz technology used enables a unique focusing of the
radar beam and a wide dynamic range of the radar sensors.
The greater the dynamic range of a radar sensor, the wider its
application spectrum and the higher its measurement reliability.
Advantages:
Non-contact radar technology is characterized by extremely
high measurement accuracy. The measurement is influenced
neither by fluctuating product features nor by changing conditions
such as temperature, pressure or dust generation

.The SEBA-pneumatic gauge type PS-Light-2 serves as a robust,
economic and reliable measuring system for monitoring water
levels in surface waters. The measuring principle is the proportioning
or bubbler system, based upon the other well-known
SEBA instruments in the PS-series. PS-Light-2 pneumatic
gauges have proven reliable in thousands of installations in the
last 20 years around the globe.
An integrated, highly efficient mini compressor, bubbles air
through the pressure tube into the water at adjustable intervals.
The resultant pressure in the tube corresponds exactly to
the hydrostatic pressure above the mouthpiece. This tube pressure
is then measured by a very accurate pressure sensor in the
PS-Light-2. To avoid influences due to obstructions like mud in
the pressure tube, the system is blown out automatically before
each measurement.
The intermittent operation of the PS-Light-2 allows low energy
consumption, and enables operation with batteries or solar panels,
without the need for mains power supply. Together with
a long running lubricant free compressor and a system that
needs no moisture absorbers, the PS-Light-2 can be operated
maintenance-free for very long periods of time.
The basic version of the PS-Light-2 is a sensor with optional output.
However, it can be equipped with LC-display, data logger
or remote data transfer via mobile data. The basic version is delivered
in a robust protective housing (IP 65) suitable for wall or
desk mounting. SEBA PS-Light-2 can be connected to existing
pressure tubes at any time

For the best data quality in the most challenging measurement
conditions, the Teledyne Oceanscience High-Speed Riverboat
(HSRB) is the new benchmark for acoustic Doppler current profiling
for discharge measurements. The advanced hull design
allows the boat to slice through standing waves and still maintain
instrument position and data collection. Fast-flowing water,
often problematic with conventional tethered boat designs, can
be handled with relative ease with the High-Speed Riverboat.
The HSRB has gathered data at water velocities over 20 fps (6m/s).
The state-of-the-art trimaran hull design cuts through surface
waves, strongly resists overturning, and maintains instrument
orientation in high flows. For sites where tethered boat measurements
have been impossible, or data were too poor to be of
value, the High-Speed Riverboat is the solution. The High-Speed
Riverboat is strong and robust to cope with the worst deployment
conditions

Teledyne Oceanscience Q-Boats are the number one choice
for reliable remotely-controlled acoustic Doppler current profiling
in streams, rivers, lakes and coastal waters all over the world.
Whether you need to reduce your survey time, keep people safe
during difficult conditions, or access hard to reach locations, there
is a Q-Boat to suit your survey and your budget.
Portable and Convenient
The use of lightweight and resilient ABS hulls and a collapsible
sliding crossbar makes the boat convenient for a single operator.
Transportation to and from the deployment site is easy; simply
slide the outriggers towards the main hull and pick up with
one hand. To deploy the boat, slide the outriggers back, place
the boat in the water, and start your measurement process.
Robust and Powerful
The IP67 rated Q-Boat 1250 has an innovative propulsion system
that uses two thrusters, one in each outrigger. An advanced
2.4 GHz remote control transmitter differentially adjusts the
two thrusters to steer the boat. The result is a robust and highly
maneuverable boat with no rudder or steering linkages.
The Q-Boat 1250 can attain a 2.3 m/s (7.5 fps) top speed
using the standard battery pack, and the remote control
transmitter can be adjusted to allow effective profiling at speeds
as low as 30 cm/s (1.0 fps).
Cost Efficient
Select survey sites based on best measurement locations. The
Q-Boat 1250 does not need a tether line or bridge for deployment,
which saves time and resources. Simply deploy your
Q-Boat and start collecting your ADCP data

The Teledyne Oceanscience Riverboat SP is the top choice for
deployment of the TRDI StreamPro acoustic Doppler current
profiler. Upgrade from the standard StreamPro float to the more
stable, rugged, and corrosion-resistant tethered boat. The Riverboat
SP makes safe, easy measurements of discharge in relatively
slow and fast-moving waters.
The Riverboat SP can gather data at water velocities over 12 fps
(3.6 m/s). The proven bow flare trimaran hull design prevents the
boat from nose-diving and maintains instrument orientation by
reducing pitch, roll, and yaw in varied flows. The trimaran design
reduces drag compared to catamaran designs making the Riverboat
SP capable of operation in a range of water velocities. Long
fins improve stability in very low-flow environments.
Made of unbreakable polyethylene, the Riverboat SP is strong
and can handle tough deployment conditions. The standard boat
configuration fits a 2 TRDI StreamPro ADCP, and the latest instrument
clamp is suitable for the StreamPro with or without an internal
compass upgrade. Large kick-up fins are standard to ensure
snag-free operation.
Features: For use in water velocites up to 12 fps
All required items included for easy plug-and-play
operation
Single or dual person mobilization
