Open Channel Flow Meter are used to measure flow in Open Channels, wires, Canals, etc and any such flow which is not flowing from enclosed pipes. The W2P make Open Channel Flow Meter, called Opflomax-u, can measure Uniform Flow in normal depth. The meter offers no resistance to flow, hence the flow can be measured without obstructing the channel or flow. The measurement is independent of viscosity, density &temperature of the flowing media. The measurement is not affected by solid impurities or any such floating impurities which make our Flow Meter a true Volumetric Flow Meter. The measurement is carried out with non- contact type sensors and they give 4-20mAoutput corresponding to the flow rate.
