It can provide a very accurate profiling of the wheel, and is the simplest system, not requiring any special device. In this type, dressers with a selected diamond crystal mounted on a shank. The point of the set diamond is concentric with the shank. in wheel dressing by means of single point dresser, normally a depth of cut of about 0.02-0.05 mm and a rapid traverse is applied till the wheel becomes true. For finishing, the depth of cut is reduced to 0.01-0.02 mm and the traverse is reduced to about 0.1 m/min. For dressing diamonds, normal working speed of grinding wheel is applied. The diamond dresser should be attached at an angle of 1015 degrees from the horizontal axis of the grinding wheel. on the negative side the dresser has short life due to the small size of the tip. A single point diamond should not be allowed to become dull, as it will produce a closed surface on the grinding wheel, which affects the grinding wheel performance. these dressers are highly suitable to fine-grain grinding wheels and small diameter grinding wheels, also suitable for larger diameter grind wheels with small widths. Single point dressers are nowadays used mostly in very cheap, simple, general purpose machines or to obtain complex profiles in low to medium production applications. the selection of the diamond dresser(carat), depends on the grit grade & the type of abrasive contained in the grinding wheel. Hence, while dressing the wheel of larger grain size, the size(carat) of the diamond is correspondingly increased. we offer single point diamond dressers in various weights with three grades. Dressing force is spread across multiple diamond points, achieving longer tool life, avoiding early tool failure and allowing fast dressing. These dressers are resistant to shock & impact. as the size/grain size of the wheel increases, diamond dressers with big stone size required. Smaller stones cost much less than the larger ones, hence the smaller stones features extensively in multipoint dressing tools. The cluster arrangement has several stones on the face of the tools which gives circular pattern. these dressers are particularly suit to use in rough finishes such as conical grinding, inner surface grinding, center-less grinding, dressing of larger, coarser, harder wheels and the side of grinding wheels. With wide wheels, such as those on the center-less grinding machines, the multi-diamond arrangement having five or more diamonds in particular arrangement, ensures the long life to the dresser also gives first class treatment to the wheel itself and increases the production efficiency of the wheel.

We are offering chisel type diamond dressers.in these dressers, a single high quality diamond that has been polished to the required shape and dimensions to dress specific forms into conventional abrasive grinding wheels quickly and accurately. Forming dressers have a wedge shape with certain angle to ensure that the corner of the diamond does not touch the grinding wheel. chisel diamond tools are made with an included angle & a specific radius. The included angle begins with 15 degree and up to 105 degree. The main included angles are 40 & 60 deg. The diamond chisel is normally not made sharp or a flat on its face, it should have radial surface e.g. 0.125, 0.25, 0.5 mm. chisel diamond tools are usually selected for dressing small concave radii. Chisel dressing tools are not recommended for superabrasive wheel dressing. There the superabrasive & their bond dont lend themselves for this chisel tool truing, dressing & forming procedure.
