Palakai pickle ( in Tamil) is exotic pickle traditionally prepared in chettinad cuisine only. Hand-picked turkey berry, garlic and white chillies are soaked in salted lemon juice. This pickle popularly served in the chettinad marriages is delicious to eat with curd rice.
