Nephelometer/turbidity meteris used to measure the scattering degree of light generated by the insoluble particulate matter suspended in a transparent liquid or water, with capability to characterize the content of these suspended particulate matter.This is of particular use in water turbidity measurements as well as various medical, biological and agricultural assays.
