Our product range contains a wide range of Soy Wax Flakes
Golden Brands soy wax flakes for candle making. These soy wax flakes are made out of 100% partially hydrogenated soybean oil with no additives. Additives such as coloring, fragrance oils or essential oils can be added to this material to create a unique finished product.
Soy Wax FlakesSoy waxis a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.
The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. This process dramatically alters the melting point of the oil, making it a solid at room temperature. The leftover bean husks are commonly used as animal feed.
The U.S. grows the vast majority of the worlds soy beans, primarily in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana.

Golden Wax is a pure soy wax that contains no additives and is both natural and kosher.
GW415 Has a higher melt point which enables it to retain a higher FO (fragrance oil) load to give you a stronger scent throw while allowing you to pour at a cooler temperature. Great for container candles. Not suitable for moulds.
GW 415 soy wax requires a lot of experimentation and patience to achieve the desired results. Not advisable for beginners

You can also use GW 415 to make an extremely pure votive/tart wax. Just add 5-10% of beeswax found here
