Sand absorption cone and tamper : Sand absorption cone and tamper for consistency. Cone and tamper manufactured according to specifications. This item is also used for determining the specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregates. Used for specific gravity and absorption of fine aggregates. The equipment comprises of a conical metal mould 1.5 dia at the top, 3.5 dia at the base and 2.7/8 in height and a metal tamping rod weighing 12 ounces and having a flat circular tamping face 1 dia.
Plummet Balance : The Plummet Balance consists of a vertical rod mounted on a heavy base with leveling screws. A light weight pointer with pointed steel pivots, turning in jeweled bearings moves over a scale graduated in percentage units 0-100 in 2% divisions. The pointer is provided with a hook for hanging plummet.
The balance moves up and down over the vertical rod with the help of rack and pinion arrangement. A chart showing the relationship between K and Temp. of suspension of soils of varying specific gravity from 2.4 to 2.8 to help solve Stokes equation is provided. Supplied complete with one perspex Plummet, one measuring jar, one rider weight for zero adjustment and one rider weight for adjusting the pointer to 100%.

Lateral Pressure Assembly : The apparatus consists of a pressure chamber which has a flanged top cap fitted with a 10Kg/Cm2. Pressure gauge and a valve for pumping in air. Water inlet and drain cock are fitted to the chamber. The foot pump supplied easily develops a pressure of 10Kg./Cm2 Complete with connecting pressure hose.
