Concept: Brake Motor is a combination of three phase or single phase Squirrel Cage Induction Motor with Electro-Magnetic Disc Brake (A.C.) when power is switched off with ordinary motor, the rotating part will stopped after some time but if brake motor is used rotating mass will stop instantaneously. All Brakes are mounted at the non-driving end of the motor, braking disc is mounted directly on the motor shaft. Brakes are directly acting, no lever or links are required.Range:Three phase: – 0.5H.P. to 10 H.P. ( 0.37 to 7.5 Kw.) In 3000, 1500, 1000 & 750 Rpm with A.c. & D.c. brake frame 71 to160L on customer request we are also able to supply motor in 220, 380, 460, 525 volts on HZ. 50 or 60.Singe phase: 0.25 H.P. to 3 H.P. In 3000, 1500, 1000 Rpm with A.c.& D.c. brake frame 63 to 112MMounting: Foot-Flange-FaceVoltage and Frequency: Supply volts 415 +- 5% 3 phase 50 Hz. +- 3% (on customer request we are also able to supply motor in 220, 380, 460, 525volts on HZ. 50 or60 )Insulation: Motor supply with class F insulation as a standard feature.
